9:45 am - Study Classes
|
Prior to worship, study classes will also be available for each age group at 9:45 a.m.
Children and youth classes will meet downstairs. We are trying to form a new children's class, and Rebecca Gondwe is available as our teacher. Pastor Kip is leading the youth class, which meets in the youth room (with ping-pong table, dartboard, table soccer, sofas, and cool stereo).
The Adult I class will meet in the multi-purpose room/library, and it will begin a study of the Book of Hebrews, led by Ken Phifer.
The Adult II class will meet in the far end of the Fellowship Hall, and it will begin a study of the book: "Krazy Kinfolk: Exploring Dysfunctional Families of the Bible" by Barbara Essex. This will be an interesting look at some of the unique “characters” of biblical families in dialogue with the families of our own. This study will be led by Carla
Ingram and Bob Tiller.

11:00 am - Worship
|
We gather as a family of faith and try to combine both formal and informal elements in our worship. We essentially follow the church's liturgical year, aided by a small but talented choir and lay leaders who read scripture. Our music consists mostly of hymns and choruses. We have a nursery for infants and young children. In August, we typically move our service time to 10:00 a.m.

12:15 am - Coffee Hour
|
We gather for snacks and sharing after worship in our Laney Fellowship Hall to meet interested visitors and chat with one another.

7:30 pm - Prayer Fellowship
|
A small and faithful group of individuals gathers for prayer and sharing on Sunday evenings in the multi-purpose room. This gathering usually lasts about an hour.
